Headquarters & Headquarters Company

colorbar.gif (4491 bytes)

The Headquarters and Headquarters Company, nicknamed the "Hellcats," consists of the battalion command group, battalion staff, and those soldiers who support the company with administrative and food services. We are embedded in every battalion event, from planning major exercises to rotations to the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. We also serve as the subject matter experts for the battalion in areas such as promotions, legal issues, financial assistance, leaves, retirements, reenlistment, automation, logistics, and operations. In fact, there are few problems we cannot solve for soldiers assigned to the battalion.

If assigned to the "Hellcats," we can assure you a challenging tour. There are plenty of opportunities to experience some of the best training possible. Many of our soldiers are sent to specialized courses to improve their management and technical skills. A local area network in the Headquarters itself allows us to access a variety of websites, which can offer additional education through correspondence courses and virtual classrooms. We also participate in several National Training Center rotations each year, where we put our leadership skills and training to the test. We are looking forward to your joining our proud and professional team. "Hellcats!"
